Is this just my impression, or have #Qwant and European Search Perspective (#EUSP) stopped all efforts at public communication since the launch of EUSP?

Qwant hasn't posted a single blog post since 8 November 2024, and the only news about EUSP is this blog post by @ecosia:

@mariusz @platlas There is a lack of transparency on the part of Ecosia regarding the infrastructure they use (probably for the reasons I pointed out).

I hope that Ecosia and Qwant, through #EUSP, will enable Ecosia to greatly improve its European digital sovereignty with the help of Qwant.

I just want Ecosia to stop relying on US infrastructure and Big Tech, because in Europe we have much more sustainable, cheaper alternatives that are better aligned with Ecosia's interests and mission and support the local businesses.

I have been trying out Kagi since December 2025 and it is still in its trial period.

Today, however, I decided to delete my Kagi account and give preference to leading European search engines such as #Ecosia and #Qwant.

I will use #Ecosia as my primary search engine and Qwant as my secondary one.

I have already set these as my preferred search engines in my browser and can easily switch between them. I have also removed all other US-based predefined search engines from my browsers.

だとしても、個人・企業だれでも Web サイト・ページを公開でき、インターネット環境とブラウザがあればそこにだれでもアクセスできる、という場所として Web という場所は残っていてほしいなあ。。そこが自分のようなインターネット老人会員みたいな人と AI ボットしかいない場所だとしても。

これまでよりも人間が Web ページを直接見なくなるのだとして、それはそこに居る人間の数が減るという意味では Web にとって良いことではないのかもしれないけど、
#Google の検索結果に表示されなければ Web 上に存在しないのと同義、みたいなこれまでの状況もそれはそれで歪（いびつ）な気がしていた。
