After failed EU missions in #Mali, also troops from #Germany move now for upcoming EU mission #EUMPM to its neighbouring country #Niger.
They should also work more closely with #Frontex. A new agreement with Niger includes the framework of #EUROSUR:

🛰️ Migrationskontrolle aus dem Weltraum
Mit #EUROSUR nutzen die EU-Mitgliedstaaten verschiedene Satellitendienste zur Meeresüberwachung. #Frontex und #EMSA schließen daher Kooperationsvereinbarungen mit dem #Copernicus-Programm für 2022 bis 2028 mit einem Budget von 67 Mio. €
