Seen at #Munich 🇩🇪 in July 2007 is ES64 P-001, considered being the prototype of the #Siemens ES64 type electrics, ES standing for #EuroSprinter and 64 for 6400 kilowatts power.
Several hundred of these locos were built, i.a. as #ÖBB #Taurus, albeit with a different cab design. -
#Siemens #Vectron prototype 193 901 on display at an open doors day at #Salzburg 🇦🇹 #ÖBB roundhouse in October 2012. Back then the engine was not yet equipped with the “radiator grill” front but rather with a cab design resembling CP Class 4700 and SNCB Class 18/19 #EuroSprinter.
