The cruise ship Alandica has officially been taken over by pirates and has been renamed the ESFS Archipelacon 2! The crew has taken some very peculiar hostages who will be forced to perform during the next few days.
(No Guests of Honour were harmed during the takeover)

Unfortunately, one of our Guests of Honour, Mats Strandberg, is not able to attend Archipelacon in person due to family reasons. We’re working on arranging for him to be able to participate remotely, and wish Mats and his family all the best!

The more the merrier, they say. And we are getting very merry, as we have over 700 wonderful members already! If you haven’t joined us already, nip over to the website and come join us at Archipelacon 2!
If you have already paid your membership fee, don’t forget to also fill in the registration form, so we can list all our members in the programme book and have your badge ready when you arrive!

We are still looking for some programme suggestions for our younger members, and have extended the deadline for the suggestions until the end of the week! If you have workshops, readings, presentations, or shows that would be suitable for children or teens, please send them our way! Our younger members are mostly Finnish speaking, so programme items in Finnish are a priority.

It’s not too late to volunteer to be on the programme for Archipelacon! You have until the end of the month to send in your suggestions. All ideas are welcome; see the post for topics we’re especially looking to get even more programme ideas about!
