High level #EUCommission officials are allowed to move to big tech companies (as advisers/lobbyists) and to law firms defending the interests of big tech. This revolving door has to be closed! Good that the #EUombudsman has opening an investigation in one of the cases.

@EDPS In that short clip #MargretheVestager stresses: the #GDPR needs to build trust as a precondition to getting people onto digital platforms. A very good point. Now when a member state’s DPA fails to act on reports of #GDPR breaches & the #EUombudsman refuses to regulate the DPAs & a court in #Austria refuses to award damages to a victim, we have a trust issue. #digitalTransformation
