I find myself on position 6 of the #EUInfluencer ranking for #Mastodon and position 20 in the overall list. What I most cherish is to read and re-send well written content of others. Make no mistake: The micropolitics of posting on social media is only a very small part of my engagement for #Democracy #RuleofLaw and #FundamentalRights. I teach, write and engage in public interest organisations. Democracy requires efforts beyond voting and occasional slacktivism. (Continued)

Taking the top spot 🥇 on our X #EUinfluencer list is @eddywax 🏆 He’s also the winner of the #EUelections category.

Eddy is a Brussels-based reporter for POLITICO.eu, covering EU politics and policy, and co-authoring the Brussels Playbook.

Overall that was really *weird* #euinfluencer

The fracturing of these networks makes this outcome really peculiar

So the ranking at #euinfluencer doesn’t cover Mastodon or Bluesky. So I’m sunk.

And amusingly @ZN was temporarily banned on X during #euinfluencer 😂 And no one knows why. Perfect.

And sorry even though I’m on it I hate LinkedIn. It’s so painfully people giving the best side of themselves. The interface is horrid. It has none of the subversiveness of a good social network. None of the humour. #euinfluencer
