  1. @Ryanteck @ahnlak Even if so, a £500 print head lasting 5 months is a significant running cost.

Anyone thinking of getting a #eufymake should bear this in mind!

  2. So #eufymake say it is a 3 month warranty... Hmmm

"Since the printhead is already outside the standard 3-month warranty period, the replacement printhead would need to be handled through self-purchase."

  3. Great photos by @gorman662 and Sarah S from some of our recent eufyMake UV printer introductory sessions.ots of pets, as usual (this time including a budgie), but also logos, desert scenes and a plushie.

Keep an eye out for more free sessions, plus Eufymake UK will be demonstrating the printer @lpoolmakefest on Sunday 13th September.

  4. Sadly #eufymake are stalling and being odd.

They are saying the print has to be within 2mm.

But their web site says print on textures 5mm high.

Sounds a lot like "not as described".

    Except it used to work.

    Arg!

  5. The test prints were fine, so they had me do an "engineering mode" test print.

I think I can safely say the magenta is fucked.

    #eufymake

  6. Arg! my #eufymake is being ill.

    Smeared as shit.

    Suggestions welcome.

  7. Lovely cat and dog textured fridge magnets, from last night's "Introduction to the eufyMake E1 UV Texture Printer" for Safe Space Merseyside 's craft group - 18 people took part, and feedback was that "there was real excitement about what they made".

If you're a group organiser and would like to organise an event for your group, then get in touch!

We've also got 2 free sessions this Saturday 22nd August - see our website or Eventbrite for more details.

  9. This does have @NanoRaptor vibes, I feel.

#eufymake UV printer - unused keys on my keyboard...

And yes, I dug out the Gorton (engraving) font to match the original for those three keys.

  10. Why does holding this 3D printed jig in place whilst I change PCB feel like I am doing a Vulcan mind meld?!

    #PCB #Eufymake #startrek

  11. So, yes, a "smiley" on the artwork.

But it has a purpose, really.

The printer does a photo align, and even with a simple jig it can mean an adjustment.

The camera aligns on highest point, all lower points are offset, annoyingly.

That inductor is highest point, so align the smiley and all else aligns.

Next step - getting eufyMake to handle fiducials to align prints.

  12. I am really pleased with printing on those wagos. I will probably spend half the day printing and updating product listings today, LOL.

    #eufymake

  13. A NASA-style orientation cube, made by JR during Thursday's Maker Night, from an acrylic cube UV- printed using our new #EufyMake UV printer
    #weeknotes

  14. For some of my smaller run boards, an overprint like this could be really useful.

    [update, printed WAGOs as well]

JLC should offer this as an added service 🙂

Over printing the WAGOs, really is awesome...

  15. Synergy of technology.

Using the #3D printer to print a jig to hold parts that will be printed together on the #eufymake UV printer...

    Fun Saturday 🙂

Ooh, and using a jig is working, yay!

  16. FFS #eufymake
    Forgot to put paper down.

I wonder if I can get a new sticky top cover.

  17. LOL, I can't see links on web pages now.

The resulting UV print on a 19" rack milled aluminium front panel was awesome though... #eufymake

  18. @darkling Well, it is a #eufymake UV DTF Sticker, but sadly that will not "transfer" to skin, so cut out and with the B film still on top. That actually works pretty well.

If I did again I could be neater and better placed (a lot of room there!). I'll have to try "gold coloured".

  19. I can safely say that UV primer adhesive from Ali express was a total waste of time. One glass has some still stuck to it, the rest all cleaned off. #eufymake

  20. Meta, sticker on itself #eufymake

    #wales

OK, is this princess and the pea level, but is anyone else grating at this being like 1 or 2 degrees out of line?

  21. Arg! Fucking #AI

I asked #eufyMake why the height limit of 60mm, as clearly higher objects can fit.

    They could have said simply:

"The 60mm height limit is due to the focal length of the camera. If you print using zero point calibration, not camera, you can print objects up to 100mm"

That should be concise and clear.

    Instead I get this essay!

It is hard to put in to words, but this is unnecessarily long winded, repetitive, condescending, and basically sounds untrustworthy to me. I hate it.

  22. Someone is in to minecraft and squirrels...
And someone likes more fun stuff
    #eufyMake

  23. Anyone else do this?

[#eufymake feel like their replies are all heavily AI, and so hard to read, and disrespectful somehow]

  24. Big #eufymake jobs now.
I sorted some more desk space.

  25. I have no words...

This is #eufymake print on glass before and after dishwasher. This time using a blowtorch to make it stick.

Spoiler: It did not stick... Well, it sort of stayed stuck, but, well, yeh...

    #stargate

  26. Another dishwasher vs #eufyMake test underway today...

    Why are dishwashers so slow?
    #stargate

  27. FFS #eufymake

First etch worked, but looked like it needed more time. Second, with 20 minutes, allowed etch to creep under the ink. these glasses are only £10 each!!!

    Arg!
