Die rechtsextreme französische Gruppierung Reconquête hat bei der EU-Wahl fünf Sitze gewonnen, jedoch kurz darauf vier der neugewählten Parlamentarier – mit Ausnahme von Knafo, Lebensgefährtin von Reconquête-Chef Éric Zemmour – ausgeschlossen, darunter auch Spitzenkandidatin Marion Maréchal. Diese vier sitzen nun in der Konservativen-Fraktion EKR.

Na das hat sich ja gelohnt für die Partei.

In Ireland, we don’t vote on things like District Sewage Manager, and there are different regulations on political spending, so it couldn’t transfer directly.

With how #LE24 went and #EU24 is going, and with a general election in the next ~9 months, I’m now very curious about where and how it may be possible to do moneyball for Irish elections.

Could some smart canvassing efforts or campaign donations means of keeping far-right parties down and boosting the left?
