I'm writing a script to generate a custom data type for a PLC using Python and etree. The description text has a quite peculiar format using angle brackets and square brackets. For some reason I can't seem to get it to not convert the beginning less than symbol into an HTML entity character. Single or Double Quotes don't matter. Using a `\` to escape it gives an invalid escape character error. I'm confused.

I found a CD-R that had been lurking in the basement for over 20 years. It had a live show by the Polyphonic Spree on it. I was at the show, but didn't make the recording.

Cleaning up last weekend and found a box of DAT tapes. There’s a stack of Grateful Dead. Most are unremarkable, widely circulated, Phish shows. Among these are a few possibly uncirculated sources or sources with DAE.

If you know what DAE is, this post is probably for you.
I would be willing to send these Phish DATs to a reliable person for transfer.

Kennt sich hier jemand mit #Python + #etree + #XML aus? Ich müsste eine XML Datei #sortieren, komme aber mit den gefundenen Anleitungen nicht zurecht, bzw. bekomme ich das nicht auf meine XML-Datei angewendet. 😅
