Ce qui rend la musique éthiopienne intéressante, c’est que nous avons ces quatre beaux modes — anchihoy, ambassel, tizita et bati — et ce que j’ai fait, c’est mettre ces modes en dessous et mettre le monde dessus, que ce soit la musique latine, le jazz américain ou la musique européenne.
