  1. 🕊️ Dignity is Not Optional

    Dignity is not a privilege.
    Dignity is a right.
It isn’t something to be negotiated, bargained for, or selectively given.

Every person already has dignity by default.
The responsibility of any community, platform, or admin is to **protect it, not deny it**.

Cyberbullying, silencing, or ignoring harm doesn’t just break trust — it violates dignity.
    And dignity is non-negotiable.

  2. 🔎 Fediverse Safety & Accountability

I’ve been reflecting on how different Fediverse instances are run, and how much power admins and moderators have over users. With that power comes responsibility.

From now on, I intend to scrutinize and document harmful or unsafe moderation practices across the Fediverse. This is not about targeting individuals, but about protecting community members and raising awareness.

Every instance should be accountable for how it treats its users. Cyberbullying, abuse of authority, and dismissive behavior must not be ignored.

Transparency and accountability are not optional — they are essential for a healthier and safer Fediverse.

  3. The World Wide Web Consortium #W3C has released their Ethical Web Principles.

They do not change the technical behavior of the #Web, but hopefully make the Web a better place. Even if just so slightly.

  4. What would #theInternet be like if everyone tested and designed their web experiences based on individual connections of maximum 28kbps.

Imagine we have multiple 28kbps connections going at once, but a server basically refuses to deliver to a single client at a speed greater than 28k.

Would such an #internet be intriguing to you?
