Firstly I actually didn't find #SamSeder to be particularly smug during the ambush directly (maybe afterwards IDK), but in his regular content.
To be fair more of the blame lies with #EthanKlein, for adding him in, but still it was a terrible move and should never have been done. Not an earth shattering deed by any means, just bad.
On #StevenCrowder's point, I don't think he was being serious there, mostly making a joke. You're mostly right on the ethics, even though I chuckled a bit myself when I heard it 😅
I respect #Vaush, but I don't think I could ever watch too much of him. He is smug, but held his own in his debate with #CharlieKirk on #TimcastIRL that one time. Even though he was mostly wrong I almost felt like he came out on top because he used a pretty smart strategy: force the opponent down a logical line of thinking, regardless of what facts your arguments are predicated on. Few people are as logically consistent as #Vaush, so I gotta give him credit for that, even if it leads to him coming to some questionable conclusions. -
@sam I may give him another shot, from what I remember he and his co host came off as pretty smug and arrogant to me and didn't seem particularly charitable. And I was a #StevenCrowder viewer at the time when he tried to ambush his debate with #EthanKlein of #H3H3. In the overall dispute with #StevenCrowder, he is in the right, but trying to ambush him in the debate was a scumbag move IMHO

I generally like #ElonMusk, but banning #EthanKlein was largely a bad move, on both a principle’s standpoint and an optics standpoint.
For principles, it hasn’t been clear that “impersonation” includes “obvious but undisclaimed parody”, and for optics, for someone claiming he wants to bring #freespeech to #Twitter, the worst headline you could have about your platform is that you banned a prominent influencer who talks about politics somewhat frequently.
