My favorite version is actually the #NKJV! I grew up reading the #KJV so it feels modern to me. I would have switch to the #ESV by now, though, if they had not replaced all references of "fornication" with "sexual immorality". I find that vagueness unhelpful, as it's been weaponized by the progressive Christianity movement. And most importantly, I believe fornication is a sin primarily because I've seen it listed as a sin in the #NKJV, and it's not specifically mentioned in the #ESV by name, so if I go to a progressive Christian and go like "hey fornication is a sin", they can say "well fornication isn't in the Bible" and I don't think I could refute that using the #NKJV
And I know I'm picking nits here...I'd be more certain in the translation of that phrase if I knew why they made it more vague -

While I still grab my ESV first when studying, and I still use it when preaching, the CSB has become my family’s default translation. Furthermore, I come closer and closer to making it my standard translation period. #ESV #CSB @[email protected]
