Today was #NewPenDay for me! I got an #Esterbrook #Estie Back to the Land Funky Lake pen with the Scribe nib. It's my first architect nib and I really like it. It's a very wet nib, but it's thin enough I think I can still use it on my 5mm ruled journal. I'll be giving it a go throughout the night and see how it treats me on the cheap paper I have at work.

Found my great-grandma’s Esterbrook and dismantled it. I’ve cleaned out that bladder pretty well (it’s easily over 60 years old!) and wanted to pull the nib gently from the base but it’s not budging. I’m going to just flush it and see if that’s enough. I plan on filling it with some J Herbin that just arrived (Cornaline d’Égypte - it’s heckin beautiful).
