Basically, I am saying that if you do NOT distinguish between a #system and a system's #culture, then "culture" becomes a chicken-and-egg problem. A myth. A curse. A god. Which it is not.
Culture is merely the shadow of a system. No more. No less.
I have written about this in my books #EssaysOnBetaVol1 and #OrganizeForComplexity.

employees, but that employees
find ways to get their bonus."

My latest book is called "Essays on Beta, Vol. 1: What's now & next in organizational #leadership, #transformation and #learning."
It contains 20 crisp essays I wrote between 2014 and 2020. All texts were carefully revised, updated and extended. It's a true treasure for your learning - and also a beautifully designed, colorful, highly thought-provoking book!
Get #EssaysOnBetaVol1 from your favorite book store, or buy it from the #Red42 web shop: https://www.redforty2.com/shop/#cc-m-product-7992147156

Did I ever mention that I also write #businessbooks? Yeah, I know, it makes on appear awfully old-fashioned if you admit reading books - and not just not social media posts these days... But here is the thing: I actually believe books "work", and that they can change the world through learning, you know?
You can order my books in English (including #ebooks) here in the #Red42 shop!

There are two types of learning. #I2K and #K2M. I stands for #Information, K stands for #Knowledge, M stands for #Mastery. Here is an article from my book #EssaysOnBetaVol1 that explains this crucial distinction:

Bonus systems.
They are enemies of collaboration and high performance.
They belong on the garbage heap of history.
