Special prayers today for the people of Mexico on the feast of Our Lady of Guadeloupe. Thank you for your hospitality and warmth last week at #ESOCITE4S22, especially the people on the bus who helped me get to the airport, despite the traffic of the glorious pilgrims traveling on foot and bike to be with the Blessed Mother & each other.

Disappointing that all Spanish talks I've seen at #ESOCITE4S22 have had English slides, but no English talks have had Spanish slides.

Really nice talk by @jksarathy and @zephoria on statistical imaginaries and the US Census. Neat stuff on the varied criteria of legitimacy between mathematicians and social scientists—reminds me of life in metagov.org. And I can't wait for danah's book!
