"The Pill" by Meg Elison (#escapepod #reprint) is an unflinching imagining of the nadir of diet culture. Do heed the content notes, but this is the type of story I appreciate most: one that isn't afraid to take a theme to its most extreme conclusion. Chilling, real, and fierce.
