Ich beobachte die Mediathek der #ARD, ja? Ab & an kann man dort, neben dem ganzen Degeto-DE-Schund (sorry, not sorry), auch gute internationale Produktion finden (#ZDF ist allerdings die bessere Quelle dafür).
Nun zum eigentlichen Thema,
"Die Klapperschlange"
mit Kurt Russel taucht dort regelmäßig auf aber IMMER nur "Flucht aus New York" (1981), nie "Flucht aus L.A." (1996; offiziell der Nachfolger, inoffiziell aber gerne als "Remake" des 1. Teils verschrien wg. gleichartiger Handlung).
Das amüsiert mich.P.S: Film ist aktuell verfügbar & nicht schlecht (wenn man Cyberpunk*ish dystopischen Action-Retrofuturismus mag).

Happy Anniversary to ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, which premiered on this day in New York in 1981.
Due to the age rating ( I was 15), I tricked my father into believing it was a Western so that he would accompany me to the cinema. That was easy because the German title was "Die Klapperschlange" (The Rattlesnake).
