☄️ Comet #3I/ATLAS is currently making its closest approach to the Sun.
#ESAJuice might catch the best view of this comet in a very active state. Juice will attempt observations in November 2025, with data received on Earth in February 2026

The ESA Juice (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) spacecraft gravity-assist flyby of Venus was successfully executed at 05:28 UTC earlier this morning. No pics are expected.
Juice’s next planetary flybys will be at Earth in Sept 2026 and Jan 2029.

Spektakuläre Bilder von Mond und Erde! 🤩🛰️
Das JANUS-Kamerasystem an Bord der ESA-Raumsonde JUICE hat beim Vorbeiflug an Mond & Erde am 19.+20. August 2024 hunderte Bilder der Mondvorderseite und später auch von der Tagseite der Erde aufgenommen. 📸 Das DLR ist maßgeblich beteiligt an dem Instrument und empfängt derzeit Bilddaten und wertet diese aus. Das Ziel von #ESAJuice ist es, die Jupitermonde genauer zu untersuchen. Nächstes Highlight: Der Vorbeiflug an dem Planeten Venus im August 2025! ✨ -
Durante el sobrevuelo de la Luna a la Tierra de esta semana, la cámara de navegación (NavCam) de #ESAJuice ) se probó en el espacio por primera vez.

Looks like the ESA Juice spacecraft will not send any images tonight after the earth flyby and gravity assist maneuver.
The ESA Operations team states that Earth's thermal radiation is causing the spacecraft electronics to heat up. Hence, although Juice will continue to gather data and capture images, it won't transmit any more data to Earth until 04:16 UTC (00:16 ET) tomorrow morning.
