With the new PyEditor you can get the currently selected Product from #ESA_SNAP, open and add a product to SNAP or open views, either RGB or for a single Raster.

The new PyEditor brings #Python to #Java. It embeds the modern GraalPython runtime and exposes a pythonic wrapper of the #ESA_SNAP Java API called SnapKit. This lets you build graphs, read/write products, compute new bands, and even interact with SNAP views from Python. #EarthObservation

Hello EOMasters!
The next version of the EOMasters Toolbox now available.
It introduces the new PyEditor. A small development environment for #Python within #ESA_SNAP. It lets you build graphs, read/write products, compute new bands, and even interact with SNAP views from Python.
You can check the SNAP online help: https://buff.ly/5F2WFFm

Look what I found! #ESA_SNAP will get a 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 function.
It will be great to be able to #vectorize data. Along with vectorization also comes quantization of data. Nice! -
ESA's SNAP + EOpedia
There is now a plugin available which allows to search EOpedia directly from within SNAP.

Upscaling the view and sun geometry data to the native resolution of the respective band.
This is included in the latest version of the EOMasters Pro Toolbox.

Nice new feature of SNAP 11.
Define your own band groups and use them when defining a product subset or filtering bands for the spectrum. Unfortunately, this has still a little error.https://github.com/senbox-org/optical-toolbox/issues/78

With SNAP 11, released just yesterday, the configuration of ESA's snappy changed. It is not possible to configure it during the installation process anymore. You now need to install the esa-snappy plugin first, afterwards you can run the configuration script.

Speed up ESA SNAP!
I have two workarounds for you which can speed up the work with SNAP.
One fixes a delay in SNAP Desktop when using the file dialog and the other can speed up you processing up to six times.File dialog fix 👉 https://forum.step.esa.int/t/annoyed-by-long-delays-in-file-dialogues-here-is-a-solution/42709
GPF fix 👉 https://github.com/eomasters-repos/GpfRunner -
Is SNAP processing too slow? The GPF Runner might help you.
I've observed that GPF is sometimes slower when using the gpt tool compared to a small main method which uses the API directly. This tool can make your processing up to 𝟔𝐱 faster. 👏👏 Try it out!
On GitHub, the readme provides more information.

Your feedback is needed.
My work shall be helpful for you, dear EO-Masters. What shall be provided next by EOMasters? I've prepared a short questionnaire.
You just need to tick some boxes.
Please have a look and share your opinion. Is it, more extensions for SNAP, like more scientific tools, support for more sensors, or more quality of live features, or something else?#eo #earthobservation, #remotesensing #esa_snap #eomtbx #feedback
