The pot slowly boils - what’s this woman deal, why so many untruths, etc.- until the third act, when things get really crazy (literally). I had forgotten what a stunner Madchen Amick is. Strangely populated with insufferable supporting characters, the stereotypical police detective perhaps topping the list. One legit bright spot: Yes, it’s the sex scenes. Super steamy. Watch those.
