Well this is scary: Rightwing christians saying outright that their goal is to ban all trans-care and the bans for kids/teens are only the first step because it's easier to get it done this way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy-_4WyxoWQ (not sure where exactly this is from but it was posted by Erin Reed).
It's somewhat long but basicly they plan to focus on parents rights, reject pro-transition studies because supposedly those are all badly done, and want to use trans people who regret having transitioned early to make it seem as if it's bad for everyone.
