  1. @mekkaokereke @Viss The thing that radicalized me at age 20 was cops hassling me all the time in my all-white neighborhood because I was a long-haired dirtbag. "Where you goin? HEY JAGOFF! TALKIN A YOU! You gotta job?"

    But the thing that seriously, permanently radicalized me, activated me, was years of taking the bus downtown for work overnight and seeing cops on the sidewalk ignore me and manhandle black guys my age, sirens, lights, spread against the wall, screaming, frisking, handcuffs, clubs, guns, totally routine, all the time, not for anything, just a bullshit sadistic power trip. Same as with hassling me, except always on the very edge of deadly violence for the black guys.

    Justice for Jonny Gammage! And Eric Garner, and George Floyd, and all the guys before and since murdered by cops for being black.
