#OnThisDay in 2021, #EricCarle, American illustrator, collage artist, and #writer of #childrensbooks (The Very Hungry Caterpillar), died of #kidneyfailure at 91.

Aus dem Bilderbuch "Eric Carle's Großes Tierbilderbuch". (1/3)

Dieses Buch zeigt auf ca. 90 Seiten viele Collagen von Tierbildern im typischen Stil von #EricCarle der hauptsächlich durch sein Buch 'Die kleine Raupe Nimmersatt' bekannt wurde.

Eric wurde übrigens durch einen anderen bekannten Illustrator - #LeoLionni - zu seiner ersten Arbeitsstelle bei der New York Times verholfen.
