Enthralled by the new #Frankenstein film?
Read on in this #erasurepoetry book, "Erasing Frankenstein", edited by Elizabeth Effinger, on how to use #MaryShelley 's novel to give a voice to inmates via prison education programmes - a remarkable #PublicHumanities work of collaborative art

Where can I get some crappy #AIbooks... Obviously from a #secondhand market so I don't support the dumb conmen who publish them? #GoodwillFinds website didn't have much. I think AI books would be the perfect candidates to defile for #erasurepoetry, aka #strikeoutpoetry, #crossedoutpoetry. I don't want to strike out too many of the books I already have. #thriftstorebooks #thriftstore #thriftbooks #thrifted #ai #aicrap

Thanks to the public library's week-old discarded Globe & Mail for some erasure poetry source material. The Globe is, as always, supremely frustrating and unpleasant to read despite their occasional bout of solid reporting. The poem is typed out as follows, but ought really to be read as the image of the page.

Pessimistic
Downbeat
economy
drums
decline
Bank of Canada s

subdue
future s

@soulclaphands There’s an app for iOS called Abra: A Living Text. It’s more random-generative than erasure, but erasing is one of the things you can do.
