Had the true OG EQ experience in #EQLegends last night. On Wednesday I had run a newbie froglok from Rathe Mountains to meet a friend in Felwithe (the high elf city). We'd ended up in Kaladim (the dwarf city, 2 zones away). Last night, about half an hour before we were supposed to meet, I needed to buy a component not available in Kaladim. So I thought "I'll just gate back to Felwithe to buy it, then have time to run back to Kaladim before my friend logs in" - seemed the fastest option, since I had soulbound in Felwithe when I first arrived there. So I cast Gate, and... found myself back in Rathe Mountains!? Apparently I had forgotten to soulbind, despite having camped out beside the Felwithe soulbinder.😖 Ended up runing (or hopping) all the way from Rathe Mountains to Butcherblock at level 4 again to get back in time to meet my friend. 🤦‍♀️ Brought back some original #EverQuest memories of bind points to be sure!!
