How come the #Apostle #Paul can say "in Christ there is no male nor female... slave nor free" and then in the same #epistle, say "wives, submit to your husbands" and "slaves, obey your masters no matter what?" And how come most #Christians will follow one of these sets of statements and not the other? Do we all have #equality in God's sight or will we only be rewarded by #God for being complicit in our own #oppression? #christianity #bible #catholic
