Latest thrift store find, a wooden Jerusalem cross. I don't often find a lot of Christian symbols or paraphernalia in Value Village, so this was a nice surprise.

Still reading through all the links. I'm a parent and advocate for my daughter.
We are a small parish and everyone is crazy about my daughter thankfully making it all convenient. It was still quite a lot to navigate as a Dad and coming from another denomination background.
Sharing if it helps and proud that we have leadership that considers this.

For morning prayer my go to has still been The Daily Office Chanted. Though I try to catch some online services of other parishes in the region too. Rest I just read and occasionally if busy pull out the Venite.app. Also keep one of those Forward Day by Day on me too. Not the best keeping up with that pamphlet.

Going down the highway on a bicycle with the heavens above, the endless plains all around, and semi-trucks flying by at 70mph it is a great experience. The Gregorian Chants adds a special touch.
Not going to lie, it feels like grilling & smoker season already. I have a lot of branches & some lump coal left over from Fall/Winter.
Lent is nice and enjoy respecting the season but the Patio is calling this Daddy-O every weekend. Really was helpful because I struggle the most during winter, and it was great to move that focus elsewhere.
Spring and Easter is a comfortable transition for sure. Gardening, sports, and nature walks.

Got to Church this morning to find a car taking advantage of our Safe Parking Project resources 🤣
All jokes aside we don't know who did this, I heard from our Junior Warden that they were DUI though I'm not entirely sure how they managed to get in there without damaging anything but their own car.
A for effort, I guess?
The car was gone by Coffee Hour, assumedly it got towed off.
Let it never be said that our Church is boring.

I think 'Santa' is an anagram - some old ytguy tryn to tell poor children they didn't get presents bc sounds aren't 'Good' sounds like the opposite of Jesus to me 😒
I'm in choir, so I get to sing beautiful music 🎶 and focus on the Glory of Incarnate Love
Not a lotta presents in my budget but hubby & I exchange some little things & eat festively for 12 days
