27 What’s the strangest situation or place where you’ve written?

I was in the middle of an interplanar teleportation when I had a really great idea for a side character in a project I was working on. I had to jot it down in the margin of the scroll that held the teleport incantation.

25 Describe your workflow if it had to be 100% analog.

The only thing digital in my workflow is the finger I point at the wood in the fireplace to magically light a fire. It sets the mood perfectly.

5 What writing-related tools or resources have you found most effective?

The illusions I put on my windows that make it look as though nobody is home are the only thing that allows me to get any work done.

For me this depends very much on the genre. Since I write a lot of contemporary drama or similar contemporary genres, there usually isn't much worldbuiling needed, as the world can be used as is for the most part.

21. Do you ever get inspiration from dreams?

Absolutely. I often visit the Astral Plane in my dreams. You would not believe some of the characters I've met there.

11. Do you consider any of your work to be unfilmable?

I consider my work to be eminently filmable. I welcome inquiries from filmmakers interested in producing The Cordela Chronicles for theatrical release.
