I just love EPIC 💕
The songs really have a cozy and soothing effect on me 🥰 -
Vengo de ver #EpicTheMusical, montado por la compañía universitaria #Cachivache. Espectacular montaje, donde no han recortado contenido y con una traducción logradísima de las canciones. Un bonito vestuario y una escenografía espectacular, donde destaco a Polifemo, el mismo barco de Odiseo y Caribdis. Actores con vozarrones, con mención especial a Escila y Penélope.
Se nota mucho el cariño y el respeto con el que han adaptado la obra de Jorge Rivera-Herrans. El teatro aficionado no está reñido con una buena calidad y desde Cachivache lo demuestran.

So my partner is super into #EpicTheMusical, a musical covering the Odyssey, being written by one guy. It has a huge fan club on tiktok.
But I'm not into it at all. To me it seems like the author has only ever encountered Hamilton, out of the entire panoply of musicals. Every song is same-y tenor.
The author doesn't seem to understand when the MC is likeable or why. Hella pompous, hella sexist in its failure to understand Athena. ...I guess there are worse ways for tiktokers to spend time, but bleh
