New project: a CLI tool that listens to audio input (microphone), saves the recording to a WAV file, and plays it back on the audio output (speakers).

Experiment 383: Tempo sync path = #EP133 MIDI clock out - USB-C hub - iPhone - #Audiobus 3 sync in - Ableton Link - #Algorridim #Djay, so track in Djay is tempo-locked to sampler bpm (and the lame beat I put together).
Using line out from #DJ2GO on same hub to input on EP133 so ended up with noise - sorted by a cheap in-line ground loop noise isolator.

Experiment 378: Just got an #EP133 so I'm figuring out how to patch it in and test audio-reactive VFX. Had to use phone to use for recording, so DJ2GO and Launchpad are just cycling LEDs - but later on figured out how to sync Djay with EP133 via midi clock and Audiobus3.
VFX with the kinect motion is going to need more work to clarify (and balance) how input from motion and audio comes together.

Does anyone on here own an EP-133 KOII? Any clue if there's a way to copy/paste a track between different pads? Same thing for copying/pasting a bar. It's only seems possible to copy the whole sequence (all pads) #ep133

Morning jam session with my 3-year-old on my synth/sampler combo. We used the synth to build a Vangelis-style melody while the sampler was used as a drum machine.
My son suggested that we play together and it was a lot of fun, but he also lost interest after like 20 minutes.

Impulse buying sampler while on parental leave turned out great! I love sitting down when I have a moment to myself just getting a beat going.
When was a kid learning the guitar, the thing I missed the most was a way to layer bass & drums on whatever I was playing. This machine does that.
I was thinking I would mainly use it when my baby is asleep; turns out she loves dancing to the beats too, so now I can bring it out when she's awake too. Fun times!
