#cpj numbers are lower than #wikipedia's because they don't count "Hamas-affiliated" media outlets (whose employees can be called "combatants" by #hasbara shills with impunity).
As part of my #EoB installation, I've hung 279 #MemorialNameTags for #reporters killed in #Gaza (since they were printed at the beginning of the #CeaseFire we're allegedly in now, the last dozen tags were hand written).

5 more have been killed since.

I've added a gallery of my Eye of Beholder interactive installation's guest appearance at the Independent Journalism Convention in Tel Aviv, on January 30th.
This was a chance to hang all 279 memorial press name tags for #gaza #journaliats slain since #oct7 2023.
Thanks to @neo for arranging this with the convention's organizers, as well as manually filling the name tags of reporters killed during the current ceasefire ( #שלום_על_ישראל ).

It took 5 and a half hours (more than the time it will be publicly displayed) to install it, but for the first time we can see *all* 278 #MemorialNameTags and [at least for me] it's overwhelming to look at.

The last 8 (7 of which were filled during the #שלום_על_ישראל ceasefire, 3 of which were killed on Monday) were manually filled by @neo

Everything that could go wrong did: from a loosely fastened screw in the construction holding the TV to a cache related bug :star_trek_picard_facepalm:
