> Brilliant leads. Expert editing by Károly Szalai (Silent Friend, Story of My Wife). Although striking, the cinematography doesn't quite fit. Set/costume design are too on the nose and undercut the film's whimsy and elusiveness. Excellent direction. Script loses steam 2/3rd of the way in, deflating slowing film's power as it progresses towards an awkward unsatisfying end. Some core ideas fall by the wayside -

> A superbly crafted poetic, imaginative, elusive film that invites us to perceive the world as babies do, with no boundaries of time and space. Excellent casting (but for Seydoux who underwhelms, albeit in a minor role). There’s no other filmmaker like Enyedi in the world, for her insistence on finding connection where most would only see separation. Excited to see what comes next from her, as always.
