When #Death, like a #Winter,
Doth leave us #Bleak,
And our #Joys have all taken #Wing,

May a #Tender #Friend
To our #Sorrow #Speak
Like the #Larch to the #Woods in #Spring,

And tell us that
#Summer #Days are #Nigh,
When the #Birds shall #Sing
Beneath a #Cloudless #Sky!
