Things are starting to feel real: the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) has sent me the confirmation letter that in the fall I can start my #Heisenberg position at the University of Potsdam !

Some friends and I put together a seaweed session at the MOYA festival in Ballybunion May 2nd. I'll be helping participants make their own seaweed cyanotype prints, historian Cianna Devitt will present some stories of Irish seaweed gathering, and chef Lily Toomey is making vegan sesame seaweed scones for people to snack on!
