40 years ago today, July 26, 1986, Sweethearts of the Rodeo debuted at #63 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart with “Since I Found You”. It went on to peak at #7 and spent a total of 22 weeks on the chart.

With just their second Columbia Records single, they reached the Top 10 on Billboard. They went on to achieve six more, four of them were Top 5s. I added it to my collection.
