  1. #TuneTuesday already? This week's theme is #EnterNight, as the darkness falls.

    "Bella's lullaby" - Carter Burwell

From the soundtrack to "Twilight", where it's a recurring motif.

Composed of a misty main theme with occasional moments of sunlight, like two people who like each other but don't know how to say it.

  2. #TuneTuesday #EnterNight - I feel it has to be this one, if it hasn't already been mentioned.

I am not a particular fan of Valli. And Northern Soul is not my bag. But this song is a stormer.

  4. In the early 1970s Roy Wood, Bev Bevan, and recently added Jeff Lynne were winding down The Move and transitioning to their new project Electric Light Orchestra. This song is from their first album, and was written and sung by Wood.

Electric Light Orchestra - “Whisper in the Night” youtube.com/watch?v=X8qp0gCgtLc

Wood crashed out of the band over creative direction and was gone before the band’s second album was finished. Jeff Lynne (with Bev Bevan) went on to huge success with ELO, and then as a songwriter and producer in his post-ELO period. The breakup of ELO was also acrimonious with Lynne and Bevan fighting over the ELO name and touring competing bands using ELO’s legacy.

But from the end of The Move (“California Man”, “Do Ya”) through their heyday in the 1970s and early 1980s (“Mr Blue Sky”, “Don’t Bring Me Down”, and many others), ELO was an influential force in music with their Beatles-esque sound and jukebox flying saucer iconography.

  6. #TuneTuesday #EnterNight

This album was my introduction to Moonspell, and a great one at that. Not my favorite song off it, but still worth a shoutout.

  8. In the Middle of the Night - Jimmie Vaughan (with Lou Ann Barton and Double Trouble) doing a Johnny "Guitar" Watson tune

An all-time favorite, and yes, Jimmie, just yesterday...

  10. Hello, people!

This is an entry for @Kitty 's #TuneTuesday , themed #EnterNight : when the sun goes down and shadows blankets the earth.

Ok, this is from my fellow countrymen Shores Of Null, from their majestic 2014 debut album (for me, their best one, without detracting from their following releases).
