So I got this EPS16+ sampler now, and it did come with a sample library, but unfortunately that sample library was mostly the official EPS and ASR libraries plus a couple of fancy sound sets (OB8, bosendorfer, etc). Also an FX library that I haven't looked at yet.
I was hoping to find some of the common floppies that were going around in the day, like rips of AoN's "Hey" and chainsaw samples and Trevor Horn's "Doh"s. Alas, no luck. (I guess it's feasible that I sampled those myself?) But also there were a bunch of FX ones floating around for Mirage and EPS.
Anyone have a pointer to existing good-quality versions of that sort of thing?

Sounds were a little rough around the edges, but that was part of the appeal. In retrospect this was a solid, affordable, well-designed and surprisingly durable beast of a machine. If you wish to help me out with or have something I don't let me know! I've set up a folder so all can join on syncthing, but if yall want to I can always put it up on Resilio or something.

Just boatload of fun noodling around with some of this stuff. Doesn’t even sound at all that bad even if samples are 8-bit 😍
