The view of the Mount #Fuji was astonishing. We stopped and stayed there, in complete silence, admiring the sacred mountain in Japan while the sun was slowly setting. Pure bliss.

Heute führte uns die Reise mal wieder raus aus Tokio - zunächst mit Regionalexpress und Schwebebahn zur Insel #Enoshima. Die küstennahe Insel beherbergt mehrere Schreine und ist Gegenstand von Legenden, die auch in den Höhlen unter der Insel spielen und gezeigt werden.
Das Wetter erlaubte tolle Aussichten bis zum Fuji. Leider hatte ich gerade heute den SD-Chip der Kamera vergessen und konnte nur Handybilder machen. :blobcatgooglycry:

Waiting for our train back to #Shinjuku after a fab day exploring #Enoshima and #Kamakura.

I have to admit, the heat got the better of me at times, but it was still enjoyable. Looking forward to some hotel air-conditioning and an ice-cold beer.

Last but not least: my absolute favorite #ema and I know the #furry #fediverse will also love it :smirkgrin:. I got this from a temple on #enoshima, an island not so far away from #tokyo. Highly recommend going there! The legend of this island is about the love story between a woman and a #dragon. If you like #japanese #folklore, this is a nice #rabbithole to dive in. Look how cute they are! #japan
