Fue el cuarto single de OMD y llegó al nº 8 en Reino Unido. Fuera de casa fue todavía más grande: alcanzó el nº 1 en Francia, Italia, España y Portugal.
Se convirtió en el primer gran éxito internacional del grupo.

El título pertenece al B-29 que lanzó la bomba atómica sobre Hiroshima el 6 de agosto de 1945.
Andy McCluskey convirtió aquel episodio histórico en una canción de apariencia luminosa, pero con una letra cargada de ironía y preguntas incómodas. “Little Boy” era el nombre de la bomba.
