Your post spoke to me this morning as I was recently explaining my lack of ambition to a former industry contact. He couldn't believe that retirement meant not working. I received offers for project work or consulting and just couldn't make a commitment to actually put in the effort. I'm not busy but I'm not bored.
Current POV as I'm taking a break from cleanup duties. Preparing for a large BBQ this weekend. -

1. Realised that this place has become my automatic choice when looking to fill a few minute, whereas the other places felt like ways to kill time, this place feels like a way to enhance spare moments.
2. A grooming session turned into a long cuddle with the cat that in turn ended with us both being asleep! She can’t be beaten as a buddy for times when you’re feeling rubbish.
3. More time spent playing with paints proving my mantra that you don’t have to be good at things to enjoy them, making art for arts sake is enough.
