Must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky – Hendon Beach, on the south side of Sunderland's coastline, perhaps a little more off the beaten track when compared to its more popular neighbours of Roker and Seaburn, but still worthy of a capture through my camera lens.
This view is from the end of the sea wall/promenade, looks towards Salterfen Rocks.

We called them the Spindle People, and up on the hill they pranced around their #castle when no-one was there.
If you went to #dance with them? Well, I didn't find anyone, but I've never had any complaints on the club floor 🕺🏽 (though I gave up construction work - hate the boots!)
