Must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky – Hendon Beach, on the south side of Sunderland's coastline, perhaps a little more off the beaten track when compared to its more popular neighbours of Roker and Seaburn, but still worthy of a capture through my camera lens.
This view is from the end of the sea wall/promenade, looks towards Salterfen Rocks.
This is the start of the Durham Heritage Coast, which runs south from here, via Ryhope, Seaham, Dawdon, Hawthorn Hive, Easington, Horden, Blackhall and Crimdon, all the way to Hartlepool Headland.#sunderland #coast #kingcharlesiiicoastalpath #heritagecoast #EnglandCoastPath #landscape #monochrome #photography
