Tomorrow is #EngineersDay. As every year, #UKY's College of Engineering will host an event where we open up our labs and show everybody what #engineering is all about. If you happen to be in the #Lexington, #KY area, join us from 10am to 2pm!

For #EngineersDay at #UKY this Saturday, I have created a demo using #Sphero #LittleBits. Both circuits do the same thing. They simulate a fridge circuit: If the switch opens, light goes on. If the door is open too long, an alarm goes off. If the temperature gets too high, another alarm goes off. The traditional circuit (on the bottom) uses a lot of elements and is expensive and hard to change. The microcontroller circuit has a lot fewer elements and can be changed via software.
