  9. Augh. Any electrophysiologists here? All of a sudden the recording electrode in one of my rigs has started vibrating a lot, making stable single unit recordings near impossible. Tightened every screw possible on the manipulator, clamped the headstage closer to the body of the manipulator to minimize the lever arm, made sure the air table had good pressure, added a weight to the platform that the manipulator sits on... But still, the vibrations are going strong. What can I try next?
