Perhaps England would have been wise to boycott this match against Afghanistan. Three bowlers injured and still got South Africa to face if they manage to get anything out of this game (which is not looking super likely right now.)
Typical England performance though - quick breakthrough at the start but a complete failure to build on it.

Watching Mark Wood bowl is hurting my knees. No wonder his are knackered. Between him going off and Archer seemingly unable to run for catches, England's bowling attack suddenly seems a bit fragile.
Not that Afghanistan are going to win this, mind, but it might be a lot closer than anyone would have predicted.
