  1. 6 things I know about rest -->

    1. It feels unfamiliar
    2. We're bad at it
    3. Worry and rest don't mix
    4. Resting isn't about activity
    5. What you're doing matters
    6. It doesn't need perfection

I've got a video that breaks each of these down. Check it out here: youtu.be/GNDULQx1_p8?is=2csRUn

  2. I have nothing against watching TV in my pajamas, but it is a very limited scope of what rest could look like.

Because rest isn't necessarily about what you're doing and for how long, it's more about the mindset you have when doing it.

Doing something like painting, building a model train set or rock climbing can all be considered rest if you're enjoying it, guilt and shame free.

  4. Watching shows or videos takes so much less energy than getting up and physically doing things.

So it's easy to fall into the trap of watching other people live, watching other people deal with problems, watching other worlds, rather than spending the energy to do things yourself or deal with the hard things in your own life.

  5. Most factories already monitor electricity in real time—but monitoring alone doesn't reduce energy costs. By combining a **Power Monitoring System** with **AI Predictor**, historical SCADA data can be transformed into forecasts that help predict energy demand, detect anomalies early, and optimize production planning. 6. 🦩 Daily Reminder from Flare-a

Check in with your body before making plans.

Not every day comes with the same energy, symptoms, or limitations. Before you commit, take a moment to ask yourself what your body can realistically handle today.

Listening to your body isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom. 💗

What is your body trying to tell you today?

  7. Boundaries Aren’t a Wall. They’re a Signal.

Boundaries aren't a personality trait you either have or don't. They're a signal. The point at which something shifts from manageable to depleting. The reason most people miss them is that they've spent so long overriding the signal they only notice when it's already been crossed.

  8. Willpower isn’t merely a personality trait, it’s a limited resource your body consumes. In business and economics, success hinges not just on discipline but on managing your energy. The real edge comes from creating systems that simplify tasks, steer smarter choices automatically, and conserve mental bandwidth for the decisions that matter most. #Productivity #DecisionMaking #Systems #EnergyManagement #Business

  9. Reminder: Our first evcc Community Meetup is just 3 weeks away!

  10. One of the things I figured out on my own self-discovery journey: not doing things that don't need to be done is one of the best uses of my time.

That sounds obvious. It wasn't obvious to me for a long time.

I spent years doing things out of obligation, habit, or fear of what it meant if I didn't stay busy. Turns out a lot of those things just... didn't need to happen.

  11. TechSpot: New AI model can predict battery lifespan after only 50 cycles. “A new tool could dramatically accelerate how scientists design and test batteries. Researchers at the University of Michigan have developed a machine-learning system that can predict a battery’s lifetime after only a fraction of the usual testing, potentially cutting months or even years from the prototyping process.”
