For instance, it's hot here right now so if I have to use the electric range to cook, I put a pot of water on after the cooking is done but the range is still hot so the water can be heated up to use in tea or to store in a thermos for later. 🔅
The more it heats the water, the less it's heating the air in the room, I figure.
