Although… if the lead translator were to engage in what he might call “educated speculation,” a very interesting conclusion includes the possibility that Ivalice predated the Allagan Empire. If so, it puts the probable existence of Ivalice some time between the Solar Scathe (the Third Umbral Calamity) and the start of the Middle Allagan Period. By the time Julỹs Kaĩsar is set in, Ivalice had already become a kingdom lost to a localized, umbral calamity of an unknown nature. By the time Morvelet was writing, it was a miracle he was able to name it even a little.

i've been thinking about an animatic to this song ever since a friend said it was perfect hyth and venat fodder. exept my brain took a right turn at "colder than the darkest sea" and we ended up here instead.

the transitions and camera pans aren't as precise as i'd like due to the software, but they get the message across.

They called me a #lore-breaker for the epic stories I choose to tell in my #RP events. Chastised. Dismissed. Even maligned.

Yet once again, the #MSQ vindicates me and confirms that I was right all along! :blob_rave:​

Between #Anabaseios Circles 9 and 10 there is a cutscene that refers to the Heart of Sabik directly. Years ago, I built a story around the Heart of Sabik where #Venat was revealed to be the heart of #Hydaelyn (substantiated in #Endwalker's main story). In that same story, the true nature of the Heart of Sabik was finally revealed to my players.

#YoshiP has once again confirmed that I was right all along! Indeed it was always precisely that which I had said it was. Once again, I demonstrated my flawless (thus far) ability to predict #FFXIV's lore.

I'm a fucking badass GM. 😼✊💙
