When students complain about #endofsemester workload - yeah, I feel you, I have two major presentations looming, multiple "group project" meetings, student 1:1s, paper reviews, grading, and a few blog posts to write. Oh, and need to organize final hiring + research budgets for summer, fall, and spring. Did I mention I'm on the faculty search committee too??? 😂 #proflife #academia

Just taught my last class for the whole academic year – a Criminology Masters module that's a joy to teach. Stirling University Masters students doing themselves and ourselves proud!
I have that precious thing called research leave in January. A long time coming. Feeling tired relief and excitement.
