An odd thing happened earlier; I replied to a work query relating to email with "I'm no longer responsible for that, please contact <team who are>".

It's the first time since the summer of 1997. I've run small systems (for myself, which I still do), secondary school sized, university sized, ISP sized and domain registrar sized (with over a million mailboxes).

I've been running the same software stack, albeit highly tuned, updated & evolved, since 1999/2000.
